Case Study: DFDS

DFDS are a leading ferry operator offering 8 passenger ferry routes across Europe. They also offer mini-cruise breaks to several major cities across Europe.

The Challenge:

DFDS wanted Industry to generate leads for their B2B voucher scheme. The voucher could be used as part of an employee reward scheme and redeemed against the Newcastle-Amsterdam mini-cruise route.

The Campaign:

Industry identified 5000 senior HR decision makers that matched DFDS’s brief of businesses based in the North East, Scotland and the Midlands.

We wrote to them to give them the chance to review a PDF which outlined the mini-cruise and the benefits of the corporate scheme.

The campaign was carried out over 2 phases using highly personalised, one-to-one plain text emails offering the prospect the chance to reply back to receive further information.

The Results:

The campaign generated over 150 leads from the likes of Nissan, Newcastle University and Shoosmiths.
