The Challenge:

Contagious launched ‘Contagious I/O’ a new online collaboration tool to help brands and agencies review, share and engage with the most effective marketing ideas from around the world.

Contagious wanted Industry to go out to existing client and new prospects – both brand side and agency – to introduce I/O and offer a free trial.

The Campaign:

Contagious provided Industry with a dataset of current and lapsed customers and asked Industry to supplement this with net new records globally.

In total, the campaign went out to 17,000 brand-side contacts and 20,000 agency contacts.

Industry wrote to the prospects to introduce them to I/O. If interested, prospects could download further information from a link in the email and register for a free 5-day trial if appropriate.

The Results:

The campaign generated 650 requests for a free 5-day trial from companies like Pepsi, IKEA, Unilever, Standard Bank, Vodafone and Toyota.

In addition to this, the campaign received over 350 replies requesting further information on I/O.
